The Alhambra arrived from Nelson early yesterday morning, and was tendered by the p s. Dispatch at I p.m. yesterday, when she sailed for Melbourne. ■ The three-masted schooner Garibaldi from Hokitika was towed in yesterday by the Dispatbh, The Charles Edward loft Nelson on Thursday at 10.15 p.m, and arrived at Westport *ti 9 p.m on Friday ; left on Saturday at midnight, and crossed the Hokitika bar at 1 1 a. m ; was detained there by bad weather till yesterday afternoon ; left at 1 p.m, and crossed tho bar at 2. 30. Experienced strong south-west winds from Nelson to Westport, ' And a fresh northerly breeze from Hokitika ■ to Greymouth. She leaves for Westport aud Nelson at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
