[per giueville's telegraph company, reuter's agents.] Christchurch, Dec. 8. Captain John M'Lean has been thrown outof a buggy, near Ashbuirfcon,' and killed. The Railway Commission is still sitting. Two more employees have been discharged. The Police Commission have reported that there are no grounds for the charges against the integrity of Mr Gommigsipner Shearman. The City Council visited che Waimakariri protective works, and found the overflow channels safe, and the new description of shingle boxes very elective. At the adjourned examination yesterday, Kereopa expressed a desire to be taken and crucified where he had crucified Volkner.
