Rome, Oct. 8. The Italian Government demanded an oath of ioyalty to the King from all Professors of Colleges in Rome. Twenty Professors refused to take the necessary oath. Two convents have been occupied by Italian troops. ,\ A difference has arisen between France and Italy respecting the official debt. The Italian Government expresses its determination that no Professor shall be permitted to exercise his functions without taking the oath.
