In consequence of bad weather, the Government p. a. Lima has sailed for Wellington. The s.s. Waipara sailed yesterday for Brighton and Westport. The p.s. Kennedy arrived. Inst night, haying left Nejsjm^n—Tfiijrsday last, but in. conßeq»«atJff~6f bad weather, was detained. —^Slie leaves , this evening, at 7 o'clock, for Westport and Nelson. Weather bad at most of the telegraph stations, sea heavy at Oamaru and lnvercargill, .with bar rough at Tauranga, is the meteorological report to-day. The barometer was highest at the Bluff, 29.70, and lowest at the Bealey, 27.21. Thermometer was highest at Christchurch, 53, and lowest at the Bealey, 37. The : I«\ .schooner, Pearh, master, left Port Phillip Heads on the 10th inst , with strong wind, squal)y weather, and rain. She cleared land on the 12th, encountering light calm winds till the 14th, then strong wind and heavy seas till the 17th. Spoke the Halcione on . the 20th. Sighted land the tame day, and arrived off Greymouth on the 23rd. In consequence of heavy weather, was not able to enter port till yesterday morning, when she was towed in by the p.s. Dispatch.
