Auckland via Wanganui, July 7. The Auckland share market is more . steady. Caledonians are selling at L 18 0; Thames, L 39 ; Tookeys, L3B ; Otago, L 3 ss, firm; Belfasts, L 7 ss; Kelly, L 3 j Poverty and Charleston, L 9 10s ; Junction, L 3 ; Cure, L 2 ; Nonpariels, L 4 ss. During the week 71500z of gold have been received from Thames. The Takatea crushing of 250 tons realised 2100oz. A dividend will be paid on Thursday. The Una will also pay a dividend on Thursday. Caledonians and Thames another dividend next Wednesday. A new company, called the Albion, has been formed, which embraces the Poverty and Charleston, Kelly's, and Belfast claims, adjoining the Caledonian. The merchants here contemplate forming a whaling company. The barque Aloion is being fitted out. Earl and Countess Belmore arrived by the Hero as guests of the Governor. The Luna will leave about the 9th for Wellington with the Governor's furniture. The " Great World" circus is perform, ing to crowded houses. Arrived — Merlin and Seagull, from Fijis ; s.s. Hero, from Sydney, 4£ days ; Star of the South, from Napier.
