R The agricultural statistics of Victoria for the year confirm the gloomy estimates formed of the extremely bad character of the last harvest. The wheat yield was about half of that of the year before, and oats were deficient in an almost equal ratio. The quantities of the more important grains are —wheat, 2,870,400 bushels; oats, 2,237,010 bushels ; and barley, 240,825 bushels. Potatoes yielded 127,579 tons ; hay, 183,708 tons; vines cover 5466 acres ; and the wine trade amounted to 629,219 gallons. The average yield per acre of wheat was 10. 1 bushels per acre, which is lower than the average of any yaar of the last ten years, except 1864, when it sank as low ns 9 bushels. Oats averaged 15 bushels per acre ; potatoes, 3.3 tons per acre ; and bay, 1,1 ton per acre.
