[per grbviliie's telegraph company, reuter's agents.] Hokitika, May 30. The criminal sittings of the Supreme Court commenced to-day. The calendar is exceptionally light, there being only five cases. A true bill was fouud in each case. In his charge to the Grand Jury Judge Richmond paid an affecting tribute to the memory of the late Mr Abbott. Dunedin, May 10. The officers of the p.s. Nevada will be entertained to dinner by the inhabitants of Port Chalmers to-morrow, and in Dunedin by the Ohamberof Commerce on Friday. Her sailing is postponed until Monday. Tauranga, May 10. Charles Harde^, publican, residing at Kati Kati, was arrested, tried to-day, and committed for trial, charged with selling ammunition to natives.
Commissioner Clark meets the Hau Hans to-morrow.
