Up to a certain amount, married women may effect Policies, and dispose of the money assured by will as if single ; and such Policies are free from the debts and control of their husbands. . 3- Insurances may be effected for th benefit of wife and children, with power to apportion amount ; and such insurance is to be free from the claim of creditors, to the extent of £2000.
