The Poet Longfellow, on one occasion, w at a dinner party, at which. Nicholas Lon worth was also present. Some one remark to Mr Longfellow that his name and that Mr Longworth's commenced alike, but m a dissimilar ending. "Yes," replied poet ; •• and it affords only another proo am afraid, that worth makes the man, want of it the fellow."
