AMERICA.
Two British schooners have been seized by a Revenue cutter for a violation of the coasting laws. The manufacturers in New Jersey are on the verge of suspension unless a supply of goal is soon secured. The Irish exiles received an address from Irish Americans, at Boston, accompanied by a gift of LISOO. The subscriptions in New York for the suffering French amounts to L 196,000. The steamer Europa, from Glasgow to New York, lost the captain, and first and second officers overboard during a gale on the 4th March. Owing to the fearful sea, no boat could go to the rescue. Severe earthquakes occurred at Honolulu on the 19th February. Considering the severity of the shock, the damage done was less than could be expected, and no lives were lost.
