EXPORTS. Per Waipara, for Hokitika : 36 sacks rotatoes, 40 cases fruit, 5 kegs butter, Pattie ; 10 bales chaff, Good ; 39 tons coal, Nancarrow, Henderson and Co.

The p.s. Charies Edward will leave Nelson at four o'clock on Monday morning, and all being well, will be despatched from this port i for Westport aud Nelson at midnight on Wednesday. The schooner Jane Anne, Smith, master, from Kaiapoi, was towed in yesterday morning by the p.s. Dispatch. She left Kaiapoi on Sunday at noon, passed Cape Campbell at 11 p.m. on Monday, with thick easterly weather. Passed Cape Farewell on Tuesday night, and Rock's Point next day. Since then she had light winds and showers, until arrival as above. She brings a cargo of general produce. The schooner Maid of Erin, Capt. Cairns, left Melbourne for Westport, on the 27th ult,, at 7 p.m., and met with light, variable winds until the 4th instant, when she encountered a severe gale from south to southeast, which continued for forty-eight houTS. From thence variable winds were experienced with much rain. Made the land off Charleston about noon on the Bth, and from that time until her arrival had strong northerly winds with rain. Anchored in the roadstead at 9 p.m. on the 13th inst., and was towed across the Buller bar by the steamer Murray at 3 p.m. the following day, making fast at the Bright street wharf. She te consigned to Messrs Spence Brothers and Co. — Westport Times.
