[from our own correspondents.] Church urch, March 7. The Supreme Court opened yesterday. There was a heavy calendar, including : ov»r charges of murder. The cases heard /esterday were unimportant. Dunedin, March 7. The nomination of seven Provincial Donncil members for Dunedin took place •o-day — twenty were nominated. The show of hands was in favor of Graham, Barton, Smythies, Barnes, Batbgate, Cargill, Reynolds. The poll takes place on the 13th.
