WARDEN'S COURT, CAMPTOWN.

Wednesday, March 1. (Before Mr Warden Whitefoord.) Herbert Dawson and Party y. : John Quin. — A complaint that defendant had damaged complainants' claim at the LeftHand Branch, No Town Creek, by running tailings on to it. The defence was, that complainants were interfering with the defendant's tail-race^ The complainants said that when the defendant took up his tail-race they warned him that he was interfering with their claim, and they would object to his making the tail-race, at the time,, only he came, to terms niih them. The Warden took this view of the matter, and gave, a verdict for complainants, making an order that defendant desist running tailings on Dawson's claim. Costs against defendant. Julian St. Croix and Party applied for a double area of ground at No Town. The application wa3 refused, as the applicants had not shown sufficient reason to to the Court. Evan Davis and Party applied for an extended claim fit the upper part of Nelson Creek. There being no opposition, the application was granted. Af cer disposing of a number of unimportant applications, the Court was adjourned to 15th March.
