Reuben Orchard Falstaad was charged, at the Petty Sessions* held at Blandford, in Dorset, with having allured and taken away Jane Marian Great bach, aged six teen years and four mnn f hs. Thn prisoner w;is a clerk of the National Provincial Bank, and the young lady — of great per*"nal attractions— was the daughter of a wUow Udy, a"d entitled under her fa'h-r's will to considerable property. Th« prisoner, wh-> is Ro-iift years the lady's senio", and the. son of a retired naval officer, formed the acquaintance of the lady, and on Octoher 13 took a carriage to her residence to take her for " an evening drive." She was wrapped up carefully by mamma, and the pair set out for Pimperhe, through Thornton-gate, but they made their way to Wimborne station, and by the night mail went to town, and thence to Dublin, where they were discovered a few days since. . The prisoner, who it appears is a married w.an, was committed for trial.
