«. [from our own correspondents.] Dunedin, Feb. 6. Mr Steward, editor of the Oarmru Times, has been elected for the Waitaki District in the Assembly by a majority of 51 over Mr Macassey. Mr Reid has been elected for the Taieri distriot in the Assembly by a majority of 72 over Mr Tolmie. There waa great excitement in Dunedin about the Taieri election, Mr Reid being a candidate for the Superintendency.
