We re-publish to-day the statistics of the Port of Greymouth for the past year, as a number of typographical errors occurred in it when first printed. The total export duty on gold for 1869 ought to have been stated at £13,359 13j lid, from which ought to be deducted .£3Bl 13s, the balance of 1868 gold, leaving £12,978 0s lid for the year. The total gold duty for the year 1870 was £12,573 15s 6d, to which onght to be added £689 10s 9d, which were received after the accounts were closed on Saturday last, and which will be credited to 1871. This brings up the gold duty for 1870 to (is 3d, which is an actual increase on the previous year. Instead, therefore, of there being a slight decrease in the revenue of the port during the past year there is an increase, and, considering the fact that this took place during what was looked upon as a very dull year in business circles, there is more than ordinary cause for congratulations at these signs of the Bteady prosperity of our port.
