Melbourne.—Telegraphic advices to the 29th November report: — Business generally continues very dull. Flour is weaker at 12s lOd or 12s Gd per centa?. Wheat steady at 5s 6d to 5s 9d. New Zetland wheat, 5s 2d. Oats steady at 3s 7d to to 3s 8d for good ; 3s 5d to 3s 6d for ordinary samples. There is better inquiry; for teas. Sugars quiet; 4000 bags of Mauritius wore sold yesterday at prices not sustaining the market. The biddings were spritless. Hops and malt are dull, and -prices unaltered. Wool is arriving fast this week; prices good, considering the position of the home market. Brisbane, Nov 28. The tariff has passed. Brandy, 12s; other spirits, 10s; beer and vinegar, in wood, 9d; in glass, Is; tobacco, 2s 6d : cigars, 6s ; opium, L2O j refined sugar, 6d to Bdpercwt; rice, oatmeal, and salt, 40s per ton ; wheat, barley, maize, oats, and malt, 6d per bushel; bran and pollard, 2d; ad valorem duty ten per cent. Mauritius, Oct. 12. No business doing, pending the arrival of the mail. Quotations, 7dols 25c, for white sugars; holders are refusing Gdols 76c for yellows, good to low ; browns, sdols 60c to 6dols.
