WARDENS' COURTS.
CAMPTOWN. Wednesday, November 30. (Before Mr Warden Whitefoord.) John Lally and party applied for per? mission to construct a tail-race near the Half-way House, at No Town. An objecjection had been lodged by Martin Shelly and party, but the objectors did l not appear. Granted, subject to noninterference with existing rights. . John M'Giiane, James Hannan, James Nihill, and William Noonan applied for a prospecting area at Dead man's Creek, in the No Town district, John M'Guane applied for his party, and stated on oath, that they had obtained payable gold in three shafts some distance apart. They had,been prospecting in the looality for three months and had proved the ground payable three weeks ago. The sinking was about 6ft with lit of washdirt. The creek contained seven or eight heads of water, and it was now pegged out for two miles. It was situated about half-way between Red Jack's and No Town. Gold ,had been found before in the locality, but there were no permanent workings within miles of them. The Warden granted a certificate of registration for a double area of ground for four men.
