The schooner Lady Don, whose arrival in the roadstead we noticed in our last, was brought alongside the wharf by the p.B. Dispatch on Thursday forenoon. She brings a large cargo ot produce, which was sold by | auction on the wharf the same day, and Drought fair prices. The schooner Wild Wave, Captain Fleet, cleared the Customs at Christchurch on Friday for Greymouth with a cargo of produce. The p.s. Lyttelton, Captain Scott, arrived yesterday morning, from Wanganui and Westport. She left the former port on Tuesday morning, called at Westport, landed a quantity of cattle, and came on here, as above. She landed the balance of her cargo of live stock yesterday, and was expected to proceed North early this morning. pThe contractors for launching the s.s. Wallaby off the North Spit, have so far been successful in their operations. The eteamer has been lifted and shifted about thirty feet back, so as to be out of the reach of the surf. The ways for the launch are being fixed, and it is expected that in a few days she will once more be alongside the wharf. The official enquiry into the strand , ing of the vessel has been fixed by the Collector of Customs to take place on Thursday next.
