The brig Magnet, Captain Clinskill, for Melbourne, was towed to sea on Saturday by the p.s. Dispatch. She took a large number of passengers. The repaiis to the rudder-band of the s s. Murray, having been completed, she was hauled off the hnrd on Sunday by the p.s. Dispatch, and taken alongside tho wharf. She sailed yesterday at 3 p.m. for W.esfcport and Nelson. The s.s. Alhambra is now running round the coast ports, and maybe expected here on Friday or Saturday, when she will take passc:igor3 for Melbourne direct. The s.s. Waipara ran up from Hokitika on Saturday morning, and left the same day for Brighton an ) Westpor t. The s.s. Rangitoto, from Melbourne direct, may be looked for hi the roadstead on Friday.
