London, Aug. 6. Opinions differ as to England being involved in hostilities.
Belgium has 100,000 troops ready. Since the skirmish at Weistembourg the Crown Prince has continued his advance into French territory without encountering any serious resistance. He passed through several French villages, which were filled with men wounded at Weissetnbourg. Paris, Aug. 6. The Boulevard was in a great state of effervesence last evening, in consequence of the defeat at Weissembourg. Four bankers have been arrested for exporting specie. All Germans have been ordered to present themselves before the police authorities in order to obtain permission to reside in France. The old system of passports has been introduced in France. -Marshal M'Mahon has concentrated his forces into a strong position, and a great batvle is considered imminent. St. Petersburg, Aug. 6. A great diplomatic reception has taken place here. The Czar addressed tho Belgian minister on tbe occasion with great cordiality.
