The ketch Jane Ann, Smith, master, was brought to the wharf on Tuesday morning by the p.s. Dispatch. She has made a good run round from Kaiapoi, with a cargo of produce for Messrs Nancarrow, Henderson and Co. The schooner Wild Wave, O'Brien, master, from Lyttelton, arrived in the roadstead on Monday, after a smart run. She had to stand off in consequence of bad weather, and was brought to the ■wharf yesterday morning .by the p.s. Dispatch.. She brings a large cargo of produce for her owners, Messrs Kennedy Bros. . V The p. b. Charles Edward is announced to leave this port on Monday for Westport Nelson, Taranaki and Auckland. The s s. Tararua, from Melbourne direct; is due at Hokitika to-day. On arrival here she will take passengers for all New Zealand ports. ... The s.s. Gothenburg, now coming round the ports, is announced to leave this road-, stead on Saturday for Melbourne direct. She will also take passengers for Sydney and Adelaide. A man from the station of Mr Charles Hay look, North Heads, Akaroa, picked up a life buoy in Blind Bay on the 21st inatant. The buoy was marked M. A. Wilson, Liverpool, and apparently had been in the water for some time as it was quite sodden. Blind Bay lies midway between the North Head of Akaroa aud Flea Bay.
