It will be seen by reference to our telegrams that Westland has received one additional member in the re-distribution of the seats, although it is yet dim cult to say how the adjustment has taken place, because the towns seem to have been amalgamated with the country, and formed into electoral districts. Until further details are to hand, we can only report the fact that the Buller District (including Westport, Charleston,- Brighton, Addison's, Northern Terraces, &g.,) are to have one ; the Grey District -(including Greymouth und b)w whole V;i\ley of the Grey from Rizorback to the Teremakau) one ; the Hokitika District (including Hokitika and all the district between the Teremakau and the Hokitika River) one ; and the district from the Hokitika River to the ■Qfcago Boundary, one. We do hot vouch for those details, but we believe they substantially embody the latest proposals on the representation question.
