, [from our own correspondent.] Dunedin, July 22. Two men have been drowned at Shag Point by the capsizing of a boat. : The Mayoral election caused great excitement here. Coal from Hart's pit at Malvern Hills, Canterbury, ha 3 been burned in ths House of Representatives to-day, and was a great success. It is better than Australian or English coal. Mr Hall called the attention of the House to the fact.
