The s.s. Wallabi, from Nelson, arrived at Hokibika yesterday, and may be looked for here at noon to-day. The next vessel from this port for Melbourne is the s.s. Rangitoto, which is announced to leave on or about Friday (todirect 13 tne" s.s. Xararua, exps;cCetl"onSiufday. It will be seen from our telegrams that the B.s. Kennedy arrivad afc Hokitika yesterday, at noon, from Martin's Bay, after taving successfully raised thep.s. oharle3 Edward, The latter vessel has procesded on to Nelson, and it is expected that she will resume running on the Ona3t in about a week. On Tuesday, the p.s. Dispatch towed to pea the schooners Bonnie Lass, bound foi Nelson ; the Fairy, for Oaehunga ; and the llapid, for Wanganui. The regular trading schooner Ceres, Capt. Bell, from Melbourne, which has been standing off and on in the roadstead since Saturday last, wrß brougit to the wharf yesterday by the p.s. Dispatch. She left Melbourne on the 17th ultimo .and carried a fair wind until past Kent's Gr nip, after which it shifted int> the V S.E., and held there for live days. The lanJ was ma le on Wednesday, the 30th ultimo, but the roadstead was not gaiued until Saturday, when she stood in for the anchorage ; but in consequence of the barometer falling, and the signals at tho station, she Gtood off to sea.
