" The Postmaster-General to have the power of detaining the vessel for two' dayß at Auckland, or Manukau, as the case may be, if ire- : quired, to await the arrival of the steamer ; from San Francisco, without charge; tbe rate of demurrage -per hour for any further detention to be stated. " The Municipal Corporations Act, 1867," That the Borough Council, at a meeting to . be held on Friday, March 4, 1870, intend to make and levy a General Rate of One Shilling in the Pound, in respect of the period, commencing March 4th thence next ensuing, and ending December I,4th, 1870, on the annual value of all the rateable property assessable within the limits of the Borough of Greymouth.
