" The Municipal Corporations Act, 1867," That the Borough Council, at a meeting to . be held on Friday, March 4, 1870, intend to make and levy a General Rate of One Shilling in the Pound, in respect of the period, commencing March 4th thence next ensuing, and ending December I,4th, 1870, on the annual value of all the rateable property assessable within the limits of the Borough of Greymouth. And furthermore, that a statement of the proposed rate, and the purposes for which the same is to be applied, together with the . return of the rateable value of the property assessable, may be seen on application at the Town Clerk's Offce, Gresson street, Greymouth, between the hours of 10 and 11 a.m. By order, JOHN A.
