STAMPED PAPER.
(To the Editor of the Gh-ey River Argus.) Sir— Lately the General Government issued an order that deeds, agreements, &c, should, to he legal* written upon stamped paper. I required some to-day, and could not obtain it at the post-office, and was, therefore, forced to send a messenger to the Grey, Surely the Government ought to appoint some person at this place to issue the same, as it is very hard that a man after riding about twenty miles should discover that he has to proceed to Greymouth through the cause I have mentioned.^— l am, &c., Stam?
