GREYMOUTH HANDICAP, of 225 soys ; open to all horses ; three miles ; second horse to receive 25 soys out of the stake. No entry will be received, unless upon the distinct understanding, that the decision of the Stewards, or whoever they may appoint, shall, in all cases be final, and all law proceedings barred. All entries and acceptances must be in writing, specifying age and description of horse, and colors of rider, and contain the requisite money. All horses must be ridden in colors. Any resident in the Borough entering a horse must be a subscriber of five guineas to the Race Fund. Parties residing outside the Borough must pay the sum of 2 soys to the Race Fund, in order to qualify themselves, except for the Hack Race. All stakes paid less five per cent towards expenses.
