OEALED TENDERS will be received at the County Chairman's Office, up to i o'clock p. m. on Thursday, the 10th instant, for the Construction of the, Eoad from the Three-Mile Creek to the Arahur*, on the following conditions, viz., deferred payments, to be made at six and nine months after the final completion of the work, but progress vouchers will be granted by the CountyTSngineer. Each tender must be accompanied by a deposit equal to ten per cent, of the whole amount of thlpteuder, such deposit to be made either in cash, or by a marked cheque or fixed deposit-receipt, endorsed in favor of the County Treasurer. Plans and specifications to be seen at the County Chairman's Office, Hokitika, where any other information can be obtained. The lowest or any tender will not be necessarily accepted. By order, A. E.
