The Blackwood correspondent of the^ Bacchus Marsh Express thus writes in Saturday's issue : — "It was current here that a woman had been found in the ranges a mile and a-half from Newbury, towards Blackwood, and that the body bore evidences of having been murdered. It seems the woman fouhd'lived atwr near Newbury with a person who goes under the alias of Billy the Bandit,; and about seven months ago he reported to the police that she had disappeared; and thought she had gone off with two Mjullbck-drivers. From what I can learn; the woman was seen in /the company of two bullockdrivers about seven months ago/ and on the s.une evening the neighbors heard loud screams, byj as Jhis was of frequent occurrence n<> a, toiifibn was" paid to tlfehi, and from that nothing had been heard 6f the woman ; tiirf ßahdiin the-'ranges ; the' other day. Billy the Bandit has been apprehended on suspicion of being her' murderer." \
