I Hereby Give Notice that EDWARD GADD AND CO., residing fob Stony Lead, did on the 22nd day of January, apply to the Warden, at Greymouth, for a Gold Mining Lease of Five (5) acres of land, on the Old Beach Lead, which I have this day marked ont, and that any person desiring to object to the issue of such lease must within twenty-one clear days from the date of this notice forthwith enter his objection at the office of the said Warden. And I further give notice that the said land is exempted from occupation for any purpose whatever until the application of the aforesaid has been finally dealt with. W. M. COOPER, Mining Surveyor.
