Sales of outside brands arc reported at S^d. New hops ('69 Kent's) are now. coming forward. Sales of prime parcels are effected at. Is lOd. Prepared opium finds buyers at 255. The clearances of gold effected at the Customs during the week amounted to 28550za. The total quantity exported since .the; . beginning of the year has been 1,682,58y0z5, of which 265,1870zs were transhipments from New Zen land. The total exports during ' the corresponding period of last year amounted to 1,881. 175. >zs, of which 251,0820zs were the produce of New Zealand gold fields.
