A WATERMAN'S SCULLING RACE, for all boats that have been plying on the j river for at least one month before date of regatta. Course to be rowed : — From flagship round upper and lower buoys, aud back to starting-point. First prize, L 7 ; entrance, 10s. Second Race. AMATEUR SCULLING RACE, only open to men who have never acted as licensed watermen ; same course as No. 1. Prize, L 5; entrance, 10s. Third Race. PAIR-OARED BOAT RACE, open to all ; to be rowed in boats not more than 26ft in length. Course— Twice round. Prize, L 1 0; entrance, 10s, Fourth Race. CARGO BOAT RACE, open only to those boats, known as horse boats, working upon the river ; crew, five men and steersman ;no polling. Course — Twice round. First prize, Ll2 ; 2nd do, L 3; entrance, Ll. Fifth Race. FOUR-OARED RACE, for boats not more than 26ft in length. Course— Twice round. First prize, Llo ; entrance, Ll. Sixth Race. SAILING MATCH, for all skiffs; twice round course ; ballast to be kept as at starting ; no oars allowed. Prize, LG ; entrance, 10s. For each prize three competitors to start or no race. Entrance, 1 soy. RULES AND REGULATIONS. The Westland Jookey Club Racing Rules, as recently passed by that Club, will be strictly adhered to. Any jockey not riding in colors declared on night of general entry, will be lined £1 Is.
