In pursuance of the power* vested in me by the " County^ Westland Act, 1868," I, Robert Stahsell, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of the Paroa Road District, hereby give notice that the following persons, viz. : — JAMES HAMILTON, M. DOWLING, JOHN O'CONNOR, WILLIAM LEACH, HUGH BARNHILL, Have been duly nominated as Candidates for the Paroa Road Board, and that the Poll will be taken for the Election of three (3) persons so nominated to serve as members of the said Road Board on THURSDAY, the 9th day of DECEMBER, at the following places — Paroa (principal polling-place), Road Board Office Arnold, Castles' Store Eight-mile, Hamilton's Store Greenstone, Taylor's Store.
