A man who has been married twice to ladies both named Catherine, advised his friends against taking dupli- Kates. A singing-master, while teaching hispupils, was visited by a brother of the tuneful art. The visitor, observing that the chorister pitched the tnne vocally, inquired, " Sir, do you use a pipe ?" " No, sir," replied Semibreve, with, admirable gravity," I chew!"
