POST OFFICE NOTICK. For Cobden, Brunnerton, Twelve Mile, Camptown, and Ahaura, every Friday, at 6 a.m. For United Kingdom, &c, via Christchurch, on Sunday, the 26th inst, at 9 p.m. For United Kingdom, India, China, America, Continent of Europe, &c, per Tararua, on Monday, 4th October. Monoy orders must be procured and letters registered one hour previous to the closing of the mail by which t is intended to transmit them. The mail for Arnold will in future close every Thursday, at 4.30 p.m.; and arrive at the Post Office, Greymouth, every Wednesday, at 3 p. in. For Brighton, Charleston, and Westport, every alternate Wednesday, at 4.30 p.m. For Pounamu (Greenstone), every Monday and Thursday, at 4.30 p.m. For Rutherglen, every Tuesday. Lettern for sea borne mails will be forwarded if posted within forty minutes after the advertised time for closing the mails, such letters to bear a late fee of 6d, in addition to the postage, the whole to be affixed n pontage stamps. In future, the Post Office will be open to the public, for the transaction of Money Order and Savings Bank business, on ordinary dayn from 9 o'ekek a.m. to 4 o'clock p.m., and on Saturdays, aud on the day previously to the closing of the Mails for the United Kingdom, from 9 o'clock a.m. to 5 o'clock p.m.
