COROMANDEL.

(From the Times correspondent.) Morgan's party (the Royal Oak) have struck some very good leaders, which I believe will turn out well. Tokatea No. 2, the Brian Boru, and the Port Phillip claims are. expecting to strike M'Leod's and Morgan's leaders every shift. The leaders found In the Harbor View look splendid. The run is different to those found by the two latter gentlemen. The same leaders are going into, the White Cross claim. In the Lord Ashley, Color rado, and George Peabody claims the shareholders are in great hopes of securing M'Leod's leader au.d those found at the bottom of Drummond Hayes Creek. On the eastern side the Maoris are making great progress with their tunnel. The new leaders found in Haye's Creek were discovered by the Mclsaacs on Saturday. A rush took place oh Monday which caused hundreds of miners to run frantically, intending to peg out half the country ere any of the paper-collared gents put in an appearance. As the leaders run north-east and south-west, all those wishing to be peg. and peg with the prospectors' (Mclsaacs) had to give up the idea, as the Peabody, Eldorado, and Ashley Claims have secured the choice ground from the main range down to the boundary of the Nil Desperandum. I came to the conclusion which a great many more have done, that the junction of McLeod's and Mclsaac's leadera will be in the spur held by the George Peabody, Eldorado, and Lord Ashley Companies. The Royal Mint Lease stands a splendid show. South of the Kapanga,. and east of the Alpha and Omega Claim, on the line of leaders running south-east, the Trentham Lease is taken up by Reilly and party, through which lease runs Gillighan's Creek, where L7OO of specimens were picked up.
