Tuesday, Sept. 21. j (Before W. H. Revell, Esq., KM.) Two Maori women were brought up charged with hawking whitebait about the town without a license. One was die? missed, and the other fined Is and costs. CIVIL CASES. Judgments were given by default in the following cases : — P. Crogan v. T. Hall, Charleston, L 3 2s 2d ; M, Levy y. P. Deare, Ahaura, Ll5 16s 6d ; Watking v. O'Brien. L 22 9s ; Mayor and Corporation v. W. B. Evans, 13s ; Strike and Blackmore v. Macgregor, Ll2 2s ; Same v. Green, LlO Bs. M. Levy v. Craig and Gaynard. — Claim of Ll9 6s 6d ; judgment for plaintiff, Ll2 15s, and costs. R. Shannon v. T. Dollman. — Claim of L 4 4s 6d. Plaintiff nonsuited in consequence of an irregularity in his, b.ill of particulars. Moynahan v. Monguillet. — Claim of Ll6 19s 9d. Case dismissed, with costs. Mayor and Corporation v. Patrick Crawford.— Claim of L 5 12s 6d. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs. Same v. G. P. Fellowes. — Claim of L 3 10s. Plaintiff nonsuited, with costs. H. W. Phillips v. Waters Bros.- Claim of los. Plaintiff nonsuited, with costs.
