A CORRECTION.
( To the Editor of the Grey River Argus.) Sir — I observe a slight inaccurracy in your report of the evidence given by me at the District Court on Wednesday, in the case of Roff and Fellows v. Kilgour. I did not say that " it did not appear to him (me) that Johnston had done all be should to instruct the contractors how to proceed with the work." 1 did say that in my opinion " they should have been furnished with a section of the bridge and specifications to go by ;'* but I did not say who should have furnished them, and MrJohnston informs me that it was not bia business to do so. — I am, &c., W. M. Cooper. Survey offic9, Greymouth, July 24, 1869.
