A detachment of the 3rd (Prince of Waks's) Dragoon Guards were on the maroh from Huntingdon to Cambridge, when one of their number commit tod suicide by shooting himself in the head with his carbine. The poor fellow's name was Patrick Nolan. Previous to shooting himself he tired twice at a horse he had .charge of, and killed that alsc. He was labouring under excitement ,from drink, and has more than once suffered from ticlirinm tremens.
