Wheat is not offering freely at all ; and though no transactions can be reported, holders are too independent, owing to the small quantity coming, to accept of 6s, the figure generally offered by buyers for best samples of Victorian or Port MacDonnell; we quote 6s to 6s 2.1. Oats are very firm at 4s to 4s 3d ; a parcel of 4000 bushels New Zealand feeding oats was placed at 4s. There is a very good trade doing in maize, which is moved oft' readily at 4s 2d to 4s 3d. There is a fair inquiry for cornsacks in bond, for shipment. Considerable parcels have been disposed of at 10s 9d, in bond. No further transactions in sugar are mentioned, though it is reported that a heavy sale is pending. The cargo of the Louisa will be offmd for sale at Geelong, to-morrow afternoon.
