Letters for the United Kingdom., &c , will be sent to Christchurch, on Monday, the 7ih inst, at 9 a. in. Fit United Kingdom, &c, &c, on or about the 11th June, lSb'9, i-ne hour previous to the coach leaving for Hokitika. For Cobdeu, Brunnerton, Twelve Mile, Cainptown, and Ahauia, every Fiiday, at 9 a m. For Arnold, every Friday, at 4.30 p.m. For Rutherglen, every Tuesday. For Hokitika and Paroa, daily. For Poenamu (Greenstone), every Monday and Thursday, at 4 30 p.m. For Brighton. St. Kilda, Charleston, and Westport, every Wednesday, at 4.30 p.m. For the future all correspondence for the United Kingdom, Europe, and •> merica will be charged the Suez rate of postage. MAILS AKRIVK. From Hokitika and Panta, daily. From Rutherglen, every Wednesday. From Poeuamu (Greenstone), every Wednesday and Saturday. From Arnold, every Thursday, at 3 p.m. From Ahauia, Cainptown, Twelve Mile, Brunuertou, and- Cobdeu, every Saturday, at 4 p. m. From Christclmreh, every Monday and Thursday. From Brighton, St. Kilda, Charleston, and Westport, ever/ Tuesday. Money orders must be procured and letters registered one hour previous to the closing of the mail by which it is intended to transmit them. In future, the Post Office will be open to the pablic, for the transaction of Money Order and Savings Bank business, on ordinary days *rom 9o 1 click a. in. to 4 o'clock p.m., and on Saturdays, and on the rlay previously to the closing of tho Mails for the United Kingdom, from 9 o'clock a.m. to 5 o'clock p.m. Lettern for sea borne mails will be forwarded if posted within forty minutes after the advertised time for closing the mails, such letters to bear a late fee of Gd, in addition to the postage, the whole to be affixed in postage stamps.
