Interest at the rate of 5 per cent, per annum is given on sums less than L2OQ ; .at the rate of 4 per cent, per annum on sums over L 20 0; and in the came proportion for any shorter time on every complete LI deposited, provided that no interest be allowed oh more than LSCO. 2. Depositors in the Post Office Savings' Banks have direct Government security for the prompt repayment of their money. 3. A depositor in any one of the Post Office 3&-ks can continue his deposits at any other of such Banks, and can withdraw his money at that Post Office Bank which is most convenient to him. 4. The strictest secrecy is observed with respect to the names of depositors in Post Office Banks, and the auunuit3 of their de posits. 5. Married women may deposit money in the Post Office Savings' Bank, and money sp deposited will be repaid to the depositor, unless her husband gives notice, in writing, pf marriage, and claims payment pf the deppsits. ' 6. Money may be deposited by or on be half of TOinors. Depositors over seven years of age are' treated as persons of full age, bu miuprs under seven yeurs of age cannot withdraw their deposits until they have reached the age of seven. , 7.
