Grey River Arcius Olfice, . Monday evening. The .amount of revenue receive^ at the Custom House on gqods passed for home consumption on Saturday aud Monday, March 6 and 8, was £12G 5s 9d. The items were as follows : —

In the breadstuff's market things are very quiet, without alteration in prices. Wheat is scarce, the fanners bringing no stock to market. Scarcely any flour is left in bond. Oats are also much reduced in stock, and prime samples an 4 parcels suited for seed are in better inquiry. Maize., also, is dull. There is uiora inquiry for malt ; parcels could be moved off if a concession on prices was made, but importers are stiff, and hold somewhat firmly. " Hop 3 are unaltered in value. The,re is a quantity of low quality in the market which interferes with the sale of the best samples of English of 1863 growth. We quoie Is 4dto Is7d for English. Next month the new crop of Tasmaniaii will come to market, orders for which are already in hand. Sales, indeed, have been made in Hobart Tow a. The quality, is said to be the finest yet produced in Tasmania, but the quantity is likely to be somewhat short. A considerable parcel of teas, which may be described as of good medium quality, were disposed of at Is S.kl. At auction, 815S packages of congous were offered, ex Doon, and 4920 packages were sold, at from 9^d to lid for very coarnou to Is od for medium congou. The teas ex Fromm were withdrawn. The balance of the cargo of the Mobile — 520 packages— was sold at from Is lOd for good to 2s 2d for fine congous. American oysters, in two-dozen cases, were sold to arrive, at 9s 6d. A parcel of twist tobaccoes changed hands at Is o£d in bond. Nothing was done in candles. There were inquiries for kerosene, and sales were made of Downer's at 2s 2d, and of other brands at 2s. White's best Portland cement found a buyer at 18s, and plaster of Paris at 16s. Galvanised iron, No. 24 guage, was bought at £2G 10s per ton.
