REGULATIONS. < The rules of the Canterbury Jockey Club will be enforced, unless when otherwise specified. No entry will be received unless upon the distinct understanding that the decision of the Stewards, or whomever they may appoint, shall in all cases be linal, and all law proceedings barred. • . • . A qualification fee (except for the Packers' .Purse) must be paid by each owner of a horse or horses on the following scale, viz : — For one or more events under LSO, L 2 ; for LSO and under LIOO, L 3; for LIOO and over, L 4; but said fees are not to be accumulative. Subscribers of L 4 and over are not required to pay any fee or qualification. All stakes paid less 5 per cent towards expenses. Three horses to start or the public money will be withheld.
