POST OFFICE NOTICE.
MAILS CT.OSE. For Cobden, Brunnerton, Twelve Mile, Camptown, and Ahaura, every Thursday, at 4.30 p.m. For Rutberglen, every Tuesday. For Brighton. St. Kilda, Charleston, and Westport, every Wednesday, at 4,30 p.m. For Hokitika and Paroa, daily. Lettern for sea borne mails will be forwarded if posted within forty minutes after the advertised time for closing the mails, mich letters to bear a late fee of 6d, in addition to tho postage, the whole to be affixed in postage stamps. Money orders must be procured and letters registered one hour previous to the closing of the mail by which it is intended to transmit them. In future, the Post Office will be open to the public, for the transaction of Money Order and Savings Bank business, on ordinary days from 9 o'cltck a. in. to 4 o'clock p.m., and on Saturdays, and on the day previously to the closing of the Mails for the United Kingdom, from 9 o'clock a.m. to 5 o'clock p.m. MAILS ARRIVE. From Hokitika and Paroa, daily. From Rutherglen, every Wednesday. From Ahaura, Camptown, Twelve Mile, Brunuerton, and Cobden, every Saturday, at 4p.m. From Brighton, St. Kilda, Charleston, and Westport, every Tuesday. From Christchurch, every Monday and Thursday.
