From my long and practical knowledge of the wants and requirements of Gold Fields generally, together with my long residence in Westland, I believe I am fully qualified to assist in devising schemes to devolope the truly magnificent resources of the Grey district. ELECTORAL DISTRICT OF GREYMOUTH In pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled " The County of Westland Act, 1868," 1, William Horton Revell, Returniag Officer for the Electoral District of Greymouth, do hereby give notice that an Election will be held on Thursday, the 10th day of December, 1868, for the Election of two qualified persons to serve as Members of the Council of the County of Westland for the said Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Resident Magistrate's Court, Greymouth, at twelve o'olock noon, on Wednesday, the second day of December, 1868 j and I farther give notice that every Candidate must be proposed by an elector duly qualified to vote at such election, and seconded by another lector so qualified.
