Notice is hereby giveu in pursuance of the "Municipal Corporations Act, 1807," That the Borough Council, at its next sitting, to be held en Tuesday, the 10th of November, 1868, intend to make and levy a General Rate of one shilling in the pound, in respect of the month thence next ensuing and ending 16th day of December, 1868, on the annual value of all rateable property, assessable within the limits of the Borough of Greymouth ; and, furthermore, that a statement of the proposed rate, and the purposes for which the same are to be applied, together with the return of the rateable value of the property assessable, may be seen on application at the Town Clerk's I Office, between the hours of 11 am. and three p.m., in the Fire Brigade Hall.
