The Beautiful Star, from Wanganui, arrived yesterday. No details of the last fight with the Natives, had reached that town on Wednesday. Constable Lacy, wha was wounded in the attack on the Turo-turo-moka Redoubt, has died of his wound?. A miner, named John Caitnich, better known as "Austrian Ji\ck," has been drowned in the Buller River, by the upsetting of a canoe. The Brighton rush is causing considerable local excitement. Stocks there are reported to be low, aud additional police much wanted.
