Drunk and Disorderly, — Jno. Wilson was charged with having been drunk and disorderly, and committing a breach of the peace on Mawhera Quay, on Friday morning, and was fined £1 or 48 hours' imprisonment. Application. — Harry Kenrick made an application, under the 87th clause of the Resident Magistrate's Act, to be put in formal possession of a house, belonging to himself, known as the Post Office Hotel. He had let the premises to J. Bulstrode, who had deserted them, and other parties "had baen living in them, without his consent. The bailiff was ordered to view the premises and take the necessary steps tinder the Act.
